Typography is a necessary evil. It’s a pact signed with the devil, approved by god and written in blood. The logical question that comes to mind as we’re cast away from shore on a burning boat is, “am I ready to swim with the wolves?” Large bodies of water always encase bigger fish, typography holds behemoth secrets, the largest encrustations on the hull of life. Only those who can interpret the howl of wolves will be ready to swim with sharks. Not the sharks that swim off the coast of Yarmouth, but the typset tilapia of our minds. At the end of the day, a shark isn’t a fish at all, it’s just a wolf disguised as a thing that swims.
